ResQ Organics Microdermabrasion Scrub will wash away the dead skin. The reason our scrub works so well is that we use little microcrystalline beads and fruit acids that bring the pH down to 4.5 literally melting away the dead skin. All the while infusing your newly exposed layer of skin with healing agents, vitamins and minerals. After the first application you will feel the difference. Even before you moisturize, your skin will feel hydrated and soft.
Most microdermabrasion scrubs contain salt, sugar, sand, or nutshells, which are very sharp and jagged. They can literally rip into the skin damaging good skin cells, clogging pores, and creating an even bigger problem than not exfoliating at all. Not to mention, they can leave the skin red and blotchy.
It’s important to understand that your skin is 5.5pH naturally – which is acidic. This acidity is your body’s first line of defense against disease and infection. Most soaps, shampoos, body, scrubs, creams, lotions, astringents and sanitizers are highly alkaline (as high as 11 or 12 pH). They creates an alkaline burn on your skin and makes it nearly impossible to repair and heal. It destroys your acid mantel and leaves you vulnerable to infections, disease and parasites. It can take up to 24 hours to restore your acidic levels and by that time you may damage it again.
